Personal Data: Born in Monticello, AR. Now resides in Fayetteville, AR   He has two sons, Steven & Jason.

Musical Experience: Jed has been performing  over 40 years.  He has 6 CDs of original and cover material. He has worked coast to coast, as well as in England and Brazil. He has worked shows with Willie Nelson, (the late) Waylon Jennings, The Band, Chuck Mangione, Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks, Asleep at the Wheel, B.B. King, Bobby Blue Bland, Greg Allman Band, Eddie Raven, Delbert McClinton, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ronnie Milsap, Cate Brothers Band and the Bellamy Brothers.

Video Information: "Local Girl and the Cowboy" is the first video. It was filmed on location at Steamboat Springs, CO and has aired nationally on The Nashville Network and The Americana Television Network as well as local and regional stations across the country and Canada.

Film:  In 2001, River Bend Films of Smyrna, TN. released "Summer of Courage".  The soundtrack includes "The Crawdad Song" from Jed's Front Porch Contemporary CD.

Radio: Airing Nationally "The Folk Sampler" on NPR (Jed has had several songs featured on this program)

In 2001 "Live at the Acoustic Sounds Cafe" began airing in Little Rock, AR on KUAR FM98 every Saturday night.  The program uses "The Boogie Woogie Song" from the JED Clampit LIVE CD as its theme song.
